1. Acceptance
By downloading or using VitalSelf, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Purpose of the App
VitalSelf is a health screening and wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns, if you are on prescription medication, or if you are in any way concerned about your health.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must be 18+ years old.
- You agree not to misuse the app.
- You are responsible for interpreting your own results responsibly, and seeking help if you are in any way concerned about your health.
4. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
We do not guarantee accuracy of results and accept no liability for decisions made based on the app’s output. Use is at your own risk.
Disclaimer: The results and information provided as a result of your VitalSelf face scan are offered for information purposes only. None of the information is offered by a doctor or healthcare professional. The VitalSelf app combines a mix of techmology: rPPG (remote Photoplethysmography), AI, Signal Processing, and Algorithms. We are not responsible or liable for any health issue that might be revealed through the use of the VitalSelf app, nor its interpretation. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner, dietician, or nutritionist before embarking upon or changing your eating plan, making any lifestyle changes, taking any supplements, or changing your medication, especially if you are in a compromised state of health.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights to the VitalSelf app and name belong to Unipharma (Pty) Ltd.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user access in case of abuse or breach.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
